Contractor - Just to make a buck.

Employers are rejecting contractors for full time/permanent employment. This came to my attention once I became unemployed after contracting for several years. Most (if not all) employers (ie. HR) will assume that you either do not have what it takes or you may not stay with their company long term. Keep in mind that these are just a few assumptions. You can use your imagination for all assumptions. I learned the horible truth during dicussions with perspective employers. HR will spitefully trash your resume or send you the dreaded "no thanks notice."

This includes the temp/contract agencies. Recruiters will not waste their time if you have not worked in a permanent position.
