XP on box w 98 dual boot how tos? - Load xp without removing 98

I need to be able to take a box that has 98 on it now, use a free repartitioning tool, load Windows XP on it without removing 98, use it as a dual boot, uninstall XP later with 98 and all its files intact. No promises, no gaurantees I know, but anyone know for certain how you would do this? I'm reviewing XP in a week or two.
