image CD compatiblitlity format (jpeg) - Windows can read, but MAC cannot...

hey all,

i work for a company that stores online photo albums (digital camera pics) for internet users..we recently release an archive CD that copies all the images from a users account (in jpeg format) and burns them to the disk. The members can order this disk for their own personal use.

the problem is: some of our MAC users are complaining that the images are not showing up..(appearing blank)..no red x's or nothing...just space...we tested one of the CDs and had no problem viewing all the images with Windows, we took the same CD and loaded it onto a MAC and could not view any of the images with either netscape or ie... the win system had no problems with either browser...

any ideas of what might cause this?
