advice for a newbie - advice

Right time for a little moan!

I graduated from college with a HND in Computing in 2001, since then I have been trying
to get my foot in the door of the computer industry, however this is proving harder
than I could have anticipated. I have decided that I need extra qaulifications to get
my career moving. I have been looking at the Technical and Systems Engineer Course
of which involves A+ Core Hardware, A+ Core Operating Systems, MCSE and the CCNA,
the idea is to get the first few qualifications which will hopefully get me into the computer
industry then hopefully use the working experience together with the theory to help pass
the other exams and progress onto a higher position. Now what I would like advice about
is, does this sound like a sensible plan or am I just kidding myself? I mean I am determined
hardworking and I am self taught in alot of the subjects involved in the MCSE anyway!
I am looking for a career in Networking, perhaps starting in a support role and building
my way up from there! Any advice would be much appreciated
