Microsoft 2000 Advanced Server - Installing on new hard drive
I have been trying to install Microsoft Advanced Server on my computer. I have a new 40 G hard drive. I have used the Western Digital floppy that came with it. I have the 4 floppies and CD for it. I have tried several times. It seems to go through the whole installation fine. It goes through the procedure with the 4 floppies, then wants the CD. It all seems to copy over fine.
Then, when it reboots and goes to run it, I think the Wizard is suppose to come up, it just stops. The screen shows the Server 2000 screen and the movement bar, but it just keeps stopping, it seems half way through the bootup.
It's been very frustrating. I have talked with several people. They don't know. There are no errors or warning signs that come up.
What is the problem?? |
