Linux+ worth it?

I want to do Linux+ Cert from CompTIA... Is it worthy in the eyes of people in the Linux Industry? Or RHCE is more ? I have a strong UNIX background (used to be a programmer in UNIX) so taking Linux+ or RHCE is not a big problem..the only thing is that if it's worth to pay the money for the exam...
