SQL Server 2000 Editions.....

Can anyone please help me on the following:

I wish to do MCSE Exam 70-229 by studying at home after work.

Can SQL Server 2000 Developer Edition be installed and fully workable on a home PC with Windows 2000 PRO or Windows XP PRO ?

Also, will the Developer edition suffice for training for Exam 70-229, or do I need the Enterprise edition ? (Developer edition is more affordable for me as I do not need SQL server for commercial deployment... and am not connected to a network)
