Depends on the size of the network. You can do all of this with 3750's running advanced vip services. Or if your bigger 4500's, 6500's. Enterprise edition or advanced vip again.
He stated in his first post that he only has three layer-2 switches plugged into one layer-3 switch. If he wants to set up another layer-3 switch for redundancy purposes only, he will be ok with a 3550 or 3560. No need to spend a ton of cash on something that big for a network so small. |
