Well, USUALLY retiring exams are listed a few months in advance.

Either that retiring message is nonsense, or Cisco might have dropped that policy here - maybe due to getting rid of braindumps as soon as possible (see the inverstigation post in this section).

But even if an exam isn't dropped they're always subject to changes as Cisco wishes - I suppose as long as they stay within the blueprint (the blueprints are vague enough to completely change the questions and difficulty level).
