Authoritative Restores...

Does anyone know if it is possible to restore a single object using an authoritative restore mechanism?

For example, restoring a single OU without having to replicate all other data.

The idea is if you decide to do an authoritative restore from yesterday's backup, you might not want to undo every changes you have made today...
