Well a lot of these threads are quited dated and was wondering if a cert in LPIC-101 would still be useful in getting an entry level position in an IT field...
I installed centos4 in college and played around with it a bit but it was'nt my field major. After graduating I landed an e-mail adminstrator poistion because it payed more than what my degree was in
I installed a mail server using spamassassin, qmail, exim, etc for about 200+ employees and monitered a system of about 2000+ cients. So I feel I have the ability to be some sort of certified network admin
by the way i have dual booted ubuntu/windows, centos 5, and fedora box in the works... |
