| Yes I will be completing my MCSA soon (just have 70-291 to go), and wondering what is the earing potential range for a first time MCSA or MCSE? I want to look for employment as a System Admin after I received that MCSA. My job now is ok , but my department doesn't deal with the server operating system on a daily basis for me to enhance my skills. I deal with dedicated servers which I build, troubleshoot RAID, install fiber SAN solutions configure Tivoli backups...etc. I hardly deal with SQL migrations, and permissions, and resources user migrations....stuff within the MCSA/MCSE scope. We have another department for that, and they all on the phones, but I don't really want to be on the phones as a admin. I love the job cause there are other admins there were I can pick there brains, but wanted something like a junior admin somewhere else so I can get experience. I figure I will really start picking there brains during my MCSA venture. Had one Window admin at work tell me that he got his MCSA then got the job, with little knowledge(enough to get pass the interview), and learned pretty much everything there. |
