How to study? .... wait, hear me out!!!

Hi All,

I know the topic sounds real noob but i just thought i might ask how everyone else studies for their exams.

For the guys and gals who read books, do you jott down notes as you read? It seems that there is so much detail to remember throughout the whole book that i cant seem to remember much of the previous chapter by the time i've finished with the current one.

So if you can post how you manage to keep all the data in your head, it would be much appreciated. thank you.
