Learning SQL Server

At work we are about to move away from Informix and onto MS SQL Server.

I need to learn the product as an Administrator. (And as I am already an MCSA I need only(!) two exams to add MCDBA to my certification.)

Question:-

What is the best study method to acquire thorough knowledge? Classroom or online?

If you have a recommendation for either method, details of who you used would be a great help. I'm based in England.
