I've been in IT for about 6 years now, have had several help desk positions, and currently work as a Desktop Support Technician. I haven't looked at certification seriously until lately, when looking for a new job- most say A+ is a minimum.
With all my years of experience, I'm still worried about passing the test- I'm not a great test-taker, and I think this is my main issue- and given the fact that reading an A+ book will put me to sleep. I'm confident in my skills- just not in my test taking skills.
So, for those that have the A+, is it really as hard as I think it can be? Or am I making a big deal out of nothing? |
