Would This Be Stupid?, Question about everything CCNA, etc.

I've just recently gotten A+ certified... But now I have a question about the CCNA and I figured well there are a lot of people in this forum and more professionals too...

So here is my question:

I am going to a community college for Network Admin Professional. The program is going to prepare me for:

Network+
Linux+
MCSE
CWNA

Then I got to thinking since I basically perfect scored my A+ certification test (self study). I have a question that has to do with the CCNA...

Since I am going to college for Network Admin Pro, I was going to go (after I got my degree) back there for the four courses they offer to prepare you for the CCNA. Then I noticed they have a degree for it (and all the classes for the degree I'll have (except for the CCNA ones) to get the CCNA degree)....

But, my question is instead of going to college for the CCNA (save me $2k) shouldn't I just self study my CCNA exam?

I mean I will be getting my Network Admin Pro degree still and the intro networking, etc. but to save me 2 more years wouldn't it be smarter to just do CCNA self study?

I want honest answers and what you guys would think... Although, I know it'd be hands on in college, I'd still get the degree... But I could just as easily just Self Study then 'register' to 'instant pass' the class and get credit for the class rather than taking the class.

But yea... Does anyone get what I am saying...?

Thanks!
