Metric or imperial measures?

First off i am new to this forum and site so would like to say thankyou to the mods and all the contributers as it is an exellent resource for self study.
I have just been reading an A+ guide that talked about the maximum distance for wireless reception 802.11a/b/g in terms of Feet then later in the same chapter talked about the maximum distance for bluetooth and IR reception in terms of Meters. All of the wired standards 100baseTX etc. i have seen have all been in Meters.
I was wandering if anyone knows if Comptia swap and change there units of measurement in the exams or if they stick with Metric all the way through or give both Metric and Imperial measures in the questions and potential answers.
For me, my perception of distance works best in feet but for some reason i seem to be able to recall from memory better in Meters and my ability to do quick mental conversions is appauling.
Also i was wandering if anyone knows if there are differant question sets for differant countries in the book i am reading, in the safty and environment sections it talks about various American government departments relating to workplace saftey and the Environment, These are obviously not completley relavent to the U.K.
