Study Methods For The A+ Advice?

Hello,
I am planning to take the A+ test in the 1st week of Aug.
I was planning to take it earlier in the year but I was busy...
Now I am focus and determined to take and pass the A+ test in August.

I need some advice on how to study for this test...

I have bought All In One A+ book 6th edition by Mike Meyers around late last year. I looked through it but I didn't really read it until now, I have also printed out the 200-601/602 objectives on the comptia site so I can have an idea on what to study. Today I have bought a dual pad tablet notepad, so I can write down things that I can't easily remember. I am planning to go to the public library everyday after work to study little by little and take notes on my notepad and plan to take at least one or two practice test per day. Hopefully I can be prepared to take the test in August. Do you think this is a good method and is it possible to pass it in 4 weeks.
Please note I know the basics and some complex things about computer, but would I pass the test if I take it tommorrow...NO!!!

Is this a good method for studying for this test?
Any advice would help?
Also, is it possible to take the 601 on day and 602 on another day or do I have to take both at the same time?
