Microsoft Corporation has canceled Microsoft MCDBA certification from 31th, March, 2009 in order to faster increase the market share of its SQL2005 and MCITP certification. Two exam subjects of Microsoft application development software have cancelled. The list is as following.
70-228: Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition

70-229: Designing and Implementing Databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition

To remind the candidates! The database manager and database development of MCITP are equal to the next Certificates of MCDBA. MCITP is different from MCDBA. The former is based on SQL2005, but the latter is based on SQL2000.
