To boldly go - Need some advice
| Thanks in advance everyone!, This forum has helped answer a lot of questions, and create even more! I have been using and building PC's for more than 5 years and have even taught my 13 year old how to build and configure them. Recently I decided that collegeless life wasnt good enough and decided to get formal education in something that I love to do(computers). I didnt know much about which route to go but I did remember going through the job listings in my area and there where all kinds of employers looking for MCSE's, so when my college counselor recomended the course I felt like I was going in the right direction, but now as I read through this forum I conclude that I should have gotten an A+ first! No problem I can get that in the fall, I hope! but then what? I'm 38, I paid my way into a class that is gonna take a year and a half to finish(Bummer) but I'm stuck, so I gotta stick with it! and I wanna make the big bucks. My current course work will net me a degree in Computer Network Engineering, along with and A+ Cert. My question is "what could I also consider, and where is the big money at? I'm confident that although I dont have working experience in the field, I can get my foot in the door someplace. |
